Supercharger Surge Protector Kit

The Surge Protector Kit will significantly improve supercharger clutch and compressor wheel performance and reliability by eliminating compressor surge. Compressor surge is defined as the negative charge of pressure that causes turbulence in the supercharger that occurs during aggressive of off-throttle operations. When the throttle valve is abruptly closed at high rpms, the engine decelerates quickly down from 8,000 rpms, however the supercharger is compressing air (creating boost) as the supercharger has to decelerate from 42,000 rpms. This turbulence is the primary cause of undue stress on the supercharger clutch system and its components. The surge protection kit utilizes an automotive vacuum assisted pressure blow off valve that automatically releases the unwanted intake pressure between the closed throttle valve and the supercharger. As soon as the throttle valve is opened, the blow off valve immediately closes and the compressor can supply its full boost potentials to the engine.

The kit Installs easily into the OEM rubber intake hose. This kit is a very necessary and cost effective up-grade for all Sea-Doo supercharged watercraft. Kit comes complete with mounting hardware and instructions.

The Ride Plate Trim Pads

Improve the overall handling of the RXP-X 260 by adding the extended Trim Pads. The extended length eliminates bow search and improves high speed stability in smooth or rough water conditions. The new Ride Plate Trim Pad design will promote smoother and quicker planning under aggressive 0-30mph acceleration, produce an overall more stable ride, offer improved cornering, and increase top speed averages. Manufactured from super strong cast aluminum and heat treated for superior strength. Kit installs in ten minutes and comes complete with all hardware and installation instructions.

The Pro Series Sponson Kit

The RXP-X Pro Series Sponson Kit will increase top speed stability in rough water conditions, as well as add increased and improved turning performance. The Sea-Doo RXP-X 260 sponson has a unique stock feature that is tabbed as a “decelerator fin”. The decelerator fin does a good job of keeping the RXP-X stable at cruising speeds with a stock engine package. However, who needs a decelerator fin when you want to accelerate? The Pro series sponsons have incorporated into the Sponson lots of race inspired technology to keep the RXP-X 260 ultra stable at top speed, corner sharp and smooth, and actually increase acceleration from zero to 30 mph by leaving the “decelerator fin” out of the design. We have done all this without loosing any of the cool inside lean handling performance the RXP-X 260 is admired for. The Sponson Kit offers 2-position sponson blade adjustability, which will guarantee this kit to out perform any other 1, 2, or 3 up. The Pro Series Sponson Kit offers a smoother more predictable ride with much better low and high speed turning capabilities. Track tested and race proven! Kit comes complete with all hardware and instructions and installs in less than 10 minutes.
